The
Baldwin Public Library Board of Trustees is pleased that both wings
of the Library are now open and operational. We are continuing to
work on finishing touches. Some of the projects that have been completed
are:
- Directional
signage for both buildings
- Hanging
artwork exhibits in the atrium
- Landscaping
the engraved brick patio and grounds
- Addition
of a curb cut by the parking lot entrance
Some
of the projects that are nearing completion are:
- Installation
of new shelving and end panels
- Refurbishing
the exterior of the building
- Striping
and signage of the Town of Hempstead parking lot
Floor
plans to help you find your way around the Library are available
at the door. If you need assistance in finding your way around,
please visit the Reference Desk where our librarians will be happy
to help you.
Watch
for information about our Grand Opening
Celebration on Sunday, September 25th when we, with the Baldwin
Community, will celebrate the official completion of the Library
Expansion.
