Baldwin Public Library

The Baldwin Public Library Board of Trustees is pleased that both wings of the Library are now open and operational. We are continuing to work on finishing touches. Some of the projects that have been completed are:

  • Directional signage for both buildings
  • Hanging artwork exhibits in the atrium
  • Landscaping the engraved brick patio and grounds
  • Addition of a curb cut by the parking lot entrance

Some of the projects that are nearing completion are:

  • Installation of new shelving and end panels
  • Refurbishing the exterior of the building
  • Striping and signage of the Town of Hempstead parking lot

Floor plans to help you find your way around the Library are available at the door. If you need assistance in finding your way around, please visit the Reference Desk where our librarians will be happy to help you.

Watch for information about our Grand Opening Celebration on Sunday, September 25th when we, with the Baldwin Community, will celebrate the official completion of the Library Expansion.
