is no charge for these programs.
Preference is given to Baldwin School District residents.
Summer Programs for Pre-Readers:
Great
Beginnings
Birth to 35 Months
Practice early literacy skills with your child this summer using
this helpful kit full of great ideas and fantastic activities. Further
details available at registration, which begins June 15.
Runs
from June 28 to August 6. Game board raffle winners to be notified
week of August 9.
Read-To-Me
Club
Age 3 to Entering Kindergarten in the Fall
Children listen to stories at home and are awarded prizes.
Registration begins June 10. Report titles from June 28 to August
12.
Special
program for Read-To-Me Club Members:
Mr. S in Concert on Tuesday, August 24 @ 10:30AM.
Registration begins July 27.
Summer Programs for Independent Readers:
Make
a Splash! Read @ Your Library
Summer Reading Club
Entering Kindergarten to Grade 6 in the Fall and who are independent
readers.
Members
of the Summer Reading Club will participate by reading books at
home, receive reading incentives, and (for completers) a ticket
to a special program. Members have the option to register for STORY-CRAFT
PROGRAMS.
Registration for the club is necessary and begins June 10.
Report titles from June 28 to August 12.
